ABOUT MATTEO FRANCESCO CARUSO

Dr. Matteo Caruso studied Medical Biotechnology (bachelor’s degree) and Industrial Biotechnology (Master’s degree). After completing his course of study, in 2016 he started his PhD project and soon after he started to work as Manufacturing and Production Technician in a Pharmaceutical Company located in Milan (2017-2019). Here he achieved experience in bioreactors and in 2019, after completing his PhD, and became Manager of the department. Given his expertise in scientific research and in administering a production department, he joined MOAB S.r.l. in 2021 as Project Manager. Since MOAB S.r.l. won a grant for a research project which involves 5 laboratories with different expertise, Matteo will be in charge to mediate between the logistic issue of a Start-up and the scientific achievements of the labs, in order to improve the product and drive it to a successful technology transfer to the pharmaceutical industry.
